Tesco, a retail giant, has announced to their shoppers that they can claim double the Clubcard points for the next seven weeks while shopping at their outlets.
Starting on January 8, the offer will continue until February 25, allowing shoppers to claim double Clubcard points every time they shop. Right from filling up at a Tesco petrol station to visiting a Tesco café, customers just have to scan their cards to get double points while using a valid Tesco Clubcard.
Generally, shoppers get one point for spending £1 every time they shop at Tesco; however, under the new limited offer, instead of one, they get two points.
Under this scheme, customers will be able to double the value of their rewards with over 100 Clubcard partners, such as Hotels.com, Disney+ (DIS), and Pizza Express.
Tesco chief commercial officer, Ashwin Prasad, replied: “Many of us could do with a little boost in January, so we are delighted to bring over 20 million Clubcard members the added joy of double points for the next seven weeks.”
“It’s the best value at Tesco, with some extra on top! Whether you want to save up your Clubcard points to use towards a special moment like a holiday or simply for money off your shopping or fuel, it’s our extra thank you to Tesco Clubcard members for shopping with us.”
For the first time, the supermarket giant is offering a double-point event over a decade, benefiting more than 20 million Tesco Clubcard members.
However, products like tobacco or tobacco-related products, prescription medicines, gift cards, lottery, infant milk formula, stamps,in-store concessions, saving stamps, and a few alcohol products in Northern Ireland will be excluded from the scheme.
The campaign also excludes Tesco Mobile, Tesco Bank, Tesco Photo, Tesco Survey, Evri, Esso Fuel, Inkjet, Waves, Halfords Motoring Club, and international calling.
